Day 1: Arrival in Accra

Day 3: University of Cape Coast (UCC)


- Morning: Travel to Cape Coast.

- Afternoon: Campus tour of UCC and introduction to the partnership program.

- Evening: Welcome reception and cultural exchange activities with UCC students.


Day 4: Academic and Cultural Exchange


- Morning: Participate in a panel discussion on education and culture.

- Afternoon: Student shadowing experience with UCC counterparts.

- Evening: African Dance and drum workshop

Day 5: Historical Insights


- Morning: Joint field trip to Cape Coast Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

- Morning: Travel to Kumasi, the heart of the Ashanti Kingdom.

- Afternoon: Visit the Manhyia Palace Museum and learn about Ashanti history and culture.

- Evening: Dinner at a local restaurant with traditional Ashanti performances.

Day 9: Cultural Immersion in Kumasi


- Morning: Tour the Kejetia Market, one of the largest open-air markets in West Africa.

- Afternoon: Visit the Okomfo Anokye Sword site and the Centre for National Culture.

- Evening: Participate in a traditional drumming and dancing workshop.

Day 10: Craft Villages and Artisans


- Morning: Visit the craft villages of Ntonso (kente weaving) and Adanwomase (adinkra printing).

- Afternoon: Hands-on workshop to create your own kente cloth and adinkra symbols.

- Evening: Dinner and overnight stay in Kumasi.

Day 11: Return to Accra


- Morning: Travel back to Accra.

- Afternoon: Free time for shopping at the Arts Center or exploring Osu Oxford Street.

- Evening: Group dinner and cultural night with performances by local artists.
